An attempt to continue blogging...

So much for announcing to the whole world that I will start blogging again! It has been almost two months since my last post! This is proving to be harder than I thought :-(.

A house is not a home without a cat

I have introduced all of you to our dear Petri, and its been two (2) years since he died,

Is he not the most beautiful cat you have ever seen? :-(

and Petri died a day before my youngest daughter Sophia's 15th birthday (poor Sophia) Here is a picture of her:

My eldest daughter, Francesca, posted this photo on her FB wall on the day Petri died.

Sad, no? And I have shared with you that because of the HUGE void Petri left, my crazy kids have been rescuing cats from storms, hunger, and eventual death: and the cats they have been rescuing have multiplied because we didnt get them spayed or neutered (yes, I know, we have not been very responsible pet owners)!

The names of our cats are: Dampot (Potpot for short, we also call him Dumb Pot as he is not very smart haha), Hyeena (Eena, she really looks like a Hyena!), Princess Snowy (the only white cat we have), Anino (Nino for short, used to follow Hubbie everywhere he went!). Eena and Potpot's first ummm litter produced: Oreo (my eldest daughter loves Oreo cookies), Mohawk (Momo, his name is now Moses because he seemed to have lost his Mohawk), Leo (named after Leo Di Caprio / Lion as he is very much an alpha cat!), and Piggie. Eena's second litter produced: Cersei and Jaime Lannister, Teena (Eena Junior), and Small Pot (Small version of Pot). The third litter produced: Trinity (Trinee) and Bagheera (Baggy).

Oops, I almost forgot Piggie's kitten, Cutething! I try not to play favorites, but she's the one I find the cutest! And boy, has she got personality!

To date, we have 13 cats. We should have had 15, but we had to give Trinee and Baghee away even if they are both the cutest kittens we have ever seen!

Aren't they the most adorable kittens you have EVER laid eyes on?  We miss them so much!! :-(

:-((.

On one hand, we are very happy that we were able to find them good homes where they will be loved and cared for. But on the other hand, we were very sad to see them go and we already miss them a WHOLE LOT!  Our consolation is that they stayed in the family so we can visit them anytime we want to! :-D

As you can see, our house is not a home without a cat, which is why when we lost Petri, the kids overcompensated and got too many cats to fill Petri's place!

See you all again on my next entry! I hope it won't take another two months to do so!
